Ideal Solution for Improving Flexibility and Resistance to Cracking at Low Temperature
The cold-resistant plasticizers are suitable for the unique processing of specific end-use
applications as it provides greater low temperature flexibility. These plasticizers are generally
aliphatic di-esters and have been used for many years as a standard in PVC which require
flexibility at low temperature. However, most of aliphatic di-esters are secondary plasticizers for PVC.
Linear plasticizers, which are primary plasticizers, can offer excellent permanence due to
low volatility, good efficiency and good retention of physical properties for more demanding
vinyl applications.
